Director of Youth Ministries
Xema oversees the youth ministry for 6-8th grade Middle School UMYF (United Methodist Youth Fellowship), 7-8th grade Confirmation Class, and 9-12th grade Senior High UMYF.
Trapped by a mundane pattern of vain pursuits and selfish interests, Xema’s* life was turned inside out by a God who pursued her with a passion and wonderful vision for her life. God even sent His Son to reach out to her to help her see that when “you lose your life to Jesus, you actually find it.” It’s quite a mysterious way to live, but as Xema says “I’m okay with mystery.”
Xema is also very okay with random humor, high energy youth, shy and quiet youth, messy things, muddy things, road trips, dreaming up adventures and discovering where God is in the midst of all of it.
