Bishop Palmer announces new Clergy appointment to Church of the Messiah!

We are pleased to share that Bishop Palmer has appointed Rev. DJ Kim to Church of the Messiah effective July 1st. Rev. Kim will serve as the Pastor of Family and Children Ministries. He and his wife, Hope, have a 2 year old daughter named Zoey. They currently are in ministry at Global Community UMC here in Columbus. A graduate of The Ohio State University and Asbury Seminary, Rev. Kim brings a passion for family, children, youth, and campus ministry. May we extend a wonderful welcome to The Kim’s in the coming months as they join our clergy team here at Church of the Messiah.

    Habitat for Humanity Partnership News

Westerville Habitat Partnership Update:  THANK YOU to the participating congregations, Progressive Christmas Concert musicians and attendees, Tapestry of a Town participants and attendees, and individual donors that, working together, enabled our Partnership to contribute $24,050.00 toward building a house for the Rizo family.  This was $4,050.00 beyond our goal!   In addition to supporting the Apostle Build V project, Westerville Habitat has also added funds to their August 2018 Walls Build project for another family.  Thanks to everyone who helped make this possible and are a blessing to the Rizo Family and our community!
