The United Methodist Church for All People

Chartered in 2003 and located on the south side of Columbus off Parsons Avenue, The United Methodist Church for All People grew out of the message of unconditional love offered by the United Methodist Free Store and the atmosphere of hospitality it created.  It is intentionally cross-class and multi-racial. The church welcomes each of us as we are, no matter who we are or what we have done, and offers an environment where each of us can grow in our discipleship and turn our lives toward the light.

Church of the Messiah has a long standing ministry with Church For All People. On the third Sunday of each month, Messiah families prepare, deliver, and serve breakfast to ~130 neighbors at the Church For All People. For many of these folks it may be the only meal that they receive that day. We provide 10 casseroles, two large trays of Corned Beef Hash, three gallons of milk, apple juice, and orange juice, bananas, seasonal fruit, and paper products.  Breakfast servers arrive by 8:20AM, breakfast is served from 8:30AM, and worship follows afterwards at 9:15AM. To learn more about supporting the breakfast ministry, contact Mickey Cox 614-893-1569.

Messiah members also offer their services for the United Methodist Free Store located at the same location.  Each week there are opportunities to volunteer in the Free Store, participate in Bible study, and assist in a variety of Community Development Projects.  Please contact Rick Schroeder to take part in these ministry opportunities.
