End-of-Summer Activities

End-of-Summer Pool Party: Join Messiah’s kids and families at the new Highlands Pool in Westerville from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21.

Blessing of the Backpacks: Also on Sunday, Aug. 21, Messiah will help students of all ages get ready to head back to school when we hold our annual blessing of the backpacks. Bring your school bag or backpack to church so we can bless you and your bag. In addition, all kindergartners will receive a copy of the Message Bible that day. Parents of incoming kindergartners, if you have not received information about this by mail, please contact Erin at 882-2167 or etierney@messiahumc.net. Third-grade Bibles will be presented at our traditional Bible Sunday in October.

Special Kick-Off Party: On Sunday, Aug. 28, join us at the Everal Barn for a community-wide event. Bring your friends and neighbors to hear the Arnett Howard Trio in concert at 6 p.m.
