Messiah & Community Singles (MACS)
Are you interested in being a part of a Singles Group?
We would love to have you join us! MACS meets every
Sunday afternoon at 4:00 PM in the Lounge for programs
which vary each week. We occasionally have speakers,
sometimes we watch videos and have a discussion, we
might have a "games day" or a potluck - you just never
know! We frequently end by going out to eat at a local
restaurant although this is optional. In addition to
our weekly programs, we usually have several social
activities during the month.
Be sure to pick up a monthly MACS calendar at the
Welcome Center or at our meetings. In addition, sign up
to be added to our email information list and you will
receive up-to-the minute information on what is
happening This Week At MACS!
Our
group is open to all adult Singles in the congregation
and in the community so please feel free to invite a

Our Purpose Statement
Messiah and Community Singles
(MACS) is a support, social, religious, and fellowship group for
all single adults in the community whether never married,
widowed, divorced or separated. Its primary purpose is to
provide singles with positive fellowship and interaction with
other singles within the context of the Christian faith.
We want to grow as individuals and have fun together.
We neither encourage nor
discourage dating among the members. However, the purpose
of the group is not to pair people off, but to help singles feel
whole and good about themselves.
Singles, like all people, have
the need to be accepted for who they are, what they are, and
where they are. They need to experience love and to learn
and grow as individuals. We believe that single adults can
do this better together than alone, and this group has been
formed for that purpose. |
