Meet Jim Summers

What I do at Messiah:
|
I preach, teach, serve, visit,
administer and coordinate ministries and activities for adult
ministries and spiritual formation. This includes adult Sunday school, Bible Study and small
groups. I also serve as the pastoral liaison to “The Celebration” our contemporary
worship team.

My God story:
|
At the very heart of my relationship with God is a profound sense of God’s unconditional
love. It is this understanding that helps me understand that all the many ways that
God has blessed and gifted me are really God’s to use. I was able to hear my call to ordained ministry because of
this understanding and the support of my church family.
