As the Associate Minister, I preach in the
Celebration Worship Service, work with program ministries, visit
the sick and others, and support the Senior Minister in ordering
the life of the Messiah community.
My God
Story:
My father has been a United Methodist minister
since I was six months old. Though I have always been around the
church, I was 22 before I felt called into leadership. During my
senior year of college, I became involved in local outreach
ministries to hungry and un-churched people, and it was through
those experiences that I began to feel a tug into ordained
ministry. My faith has grown and evolved many times throughout
my life, and I continue to stretch and learn.
My
Education:
B.S.C. in Video Production, Ohio University,
2002.
Master of Divinity, Methodist Theological School in Ohio, 2006.
My Family:
I have three children. My youngest daughter,
Lily, was born in 2007. My middle daughter, Eva, was born in
2002. My son, William, was born in 1999.
My Hobbies:
I enjoy playing hide-and-go-seek, ping pong,
basketball, video games, and making improvisational skits with
my kids. I like to go to faraway places both inside and outside
the U.S. I also take pleasure in watching football and making
documentaries.
