Children's Ministries
Jesus said, "Let the little
children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of
heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14
Messiah offers many opportunities for our children, from birth
through fifth grade.
Our Day is
the church preschool day care program, and one of the best in
the community. During church programs and worship, Infants
and toddlers are cared for in the safe, clean, loving
environment of our modern nursery and crib rooms. Sunday
School Classes are available at the 9:30 and 11:00 services
for ages 2 years through the 5th grade. Some of the other
programs offered for children include: Super Saturday Fellowship
for 4th and 5th grades, a 3rd Grade Overnight experience, and of
course, Vacation Bible School. Messiah also charters a Cub
Scout Pack, Pack 560 and a Boy
Scout Troop, Troop 560.
Infant
and Toddler Crib Room Care
Babies are welcomed into this loving environment from birth
until they can walk. Our Crib room is located on the main level
in room 134. There are at least two adults in the Crib room each
Sunday.
Toddler Sunday School
When children begin to walk and become more active they are
moved next door to the Nursery, in room 132. Here they are
offered short, repetitive lessons, based on a quarterly theme.
They are cared for by loving, patient, and caring adults. The
lightly structured lessons involve active learning for these
active little people.

Schools
Our Children's Sunday School program begins with 2-year-olds and
continues through the fifth grade (middle school, high school,
and adult classes are offered through other departments of the
church). We use the United Methodist curriculum, and are proud
of our creative and dedicated teachers.
