Welcome to Messiah!
We are a United Methodist congregation serving Westerville, Ohio and beyond. We invite you to worship with us at any of our five worship services, spanning traditional and contemporary styles. We know you'll feel at home at Messiah, a loving and caring community sharing a new life in Christ!
Every Saturday evening and Sunday morning, Church of the Messiah offers several traditional worship services in our main sanctuary. Each service has a slightly different style of music and leadership, but the message is the same - we come to worship God and sing his praises as a community of faith. This month, the themes of the services are:
- October 5 - Naaman
- October 12 - Green Pastures
- October 19 - For His Name's Sake
- October 26 - The Shadows of the Valley
Come and join us in worship!
Every Sunday morning at 11am, Church of the Messiah offers a contemporary service that complements our traditional services. The contemporary service is a spirit and praise-filled experience, with emphasis on song and joy. This month, we explore the theme of faith in a multicultural world:
- October 5 - Specks and Logs
- October 12 - The Centurion's Servant
- October 19 - The Cross
- October 26 - Who Jesus Is

New Life Community Outreach Coat Extravaganza
Our homeless neighbors and many others will need a heavy coat to protect them from the winter cold. Church of the Messiah is participating in the Coat Extravaganza supporting New Life UMC. Bring coats to the Lounge no later than this Sunday, October 26th. Coats for women, men and children are needed. Used coats must be clean, with zippers that work and buttons intact. It is preferred that coats have a hood. Extra large, 2x, 3x and 4x sizes are needed to accommodate layering. Please, no wool coats. Coats will be taken to New Life after the worship service on the 26th. Distribution at New Life will be on Wednesday, October 29th.
